There has been some debate over who this sculpture is supposed to depict. Some people think it is Louis Armstrong but others think it is Miles Davis. The only thing I can be 100% sure of is that it is not Chet Baker :) I have not seen a more interesting or beautiful bust of anyone playing an instrument. I have seen many similar designs incorporating a modern abstract theme but they look amateurish in comparison. This is a very well thought out and executed piece. The casting is clean and the subject projects strong emotion. Every time I see this piece, I fall in love with it again!
This is a fairly large bronze standing 24 Tall. From the back of his head to the bell of his trumpet is 22. It is mounted on a massive marble block that has been turned into a shapely column highly polished and velvet covered bottom. The marble has an 8 diameter and is 4 thick. The weight of the statue is 25 pounds and ships in a very large box.

(We will give you the special shipping rate that we currently give our national customers, and we will only charge you for the extra calculated fees.) We do not ship oversized items overseas.

If your multiple orders (which have shipping fees) can be shipped together, you will only pay the shipping of the heaviest item.
