This erotic scene is carved into a huge Rosewood slab with be bark exposed. The dynamics are breath taking! Many sellers will say "museum quality" but this actually was purchased from a museum, and was in the section that requires an admission price to enter. 100 years old and cloaked in mystery, why would Monk writing be on an erotic piece of art? There is a lot of powerful symbolism in this piece! I see Dragon, Goat and Snakes.I acquired this piece in Thailand but the writing is not Thai and believed to be Monk writings of Cambodia. I have not touched the piece and it could use a good cleaning as it was on display for many years. The size is 90" tall and 28" wide. I'm sure it weighs over 100 pounds as I can not pick it up.
